The Chinese festival "Dragon Boat Festival"
Qu Yuan The Dragon Boat Festival is about the death of the minister and poet Qu Yuan who was exiled because he was found to have plotted against the alliance. During his exile he wrote a bunch of poetry. 28 years later the state of Qin captured Qu Yuan and in despair Qu Yuan committed suicide. The townspeople who still respected him tried to rescue him. The townspeople could not find the body and in despair fed the fish rice balls so his body wouldn't be eaten by the fish.
